You can check your EPF (Employees' Provident Fund) balance online by following these steps:
- Visit the EPFO website (https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php).
- Click on the 'For Employees' option under the 'Our Services' tab.
- Click on 'Member Passbook' under the 'Services' option.
- Login with your UAN (Universal Account Number) and password.
- After logging in, you will see your passbook with the details of your EPF account.
- You can view your balance and other transaction details in the passbook.
If you haven't activated your UAN or don't have one, you can activate it by following these steps:
- Visit the EPFO website (https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php).
- Click on the 'For Employees' option under the 'Our Services' tab.
- Click on 'UAN Member e-Sewa' under the 'Services' option.
- Click on the 'Activate UAN' option on the right side of the screen.
- Enter your details, such as UAN, name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
- Click on 'Get Authorization Pin' to receive a PIN on your registered mobile number.
- Enter the PIN and click on 'Submit' to activate your UAN.
Note: Your employer must have deposited the contributions to your EPF account for the balance to be displayed in your passbook.
