How to Check your pension payment order status?

To check the status of your pension payment order (PPO), you can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO) website at https://cpao.nic.in/.
  2. Click on the "Pensioner" option from the menu and select "Pensioner's Portal" from the drop-down list.
  3. Once on the Pensioner's Portal, click on the "Pensioner's Service" option.
  4. Select "Know Your PPO Number" from the drop-down list.
  5. Enter your Aadhaar number, bank account number, and date of birth in the given fields.
  6. Click on the "Submit" button.
  7. Your PPO number and other details will be displayed on the screen.

Alternatively, you can also contact your bank or the pension disbursing authority to get information about your PPO status.
