How to get BE Acknowledgement Status

BE (Business Entity) Acknowledgement Status related to the Income Tax Department, the following are the steps to check the status:

1. Visit the Income Tax e-filing website - https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home
2. Login to your account using your user ID, password, and captcha code.
3. Once you are logged in, click on the 'e-File' tab and select 'Response to Outstanding Tax Demand' from the dropdown menu.
4. Next, click on the 'Submit' button.
5. On the next screen, select the Assessment Year (AY) for which you want to check the BE Acknowledgment Status.
6. After that, click on the 'Submit' button.
7. The BE Acknowledgement Status for the selected AY will be displayed on the screen.

Note: The BE Acknowledgment Status is a confirmation that the ITR (Income Tax Return) filed by you has been received and processed by the Income Tax Department. It is issued in the form of an email, which contains the Acknowledgement Number, Date of Filing, and other details.
