You can track the application status of your passport online through the official website of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Here are the steps to follow:
Visit the Passport Seva website: https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/welcomeLink
Click on the "Track Application Status" link on the homepage.
Select the type of application from the drop-down menu and enter the file number or application reference number.
Enter your date of birth or the date of birth of the applicant whose passport status you want to check.
Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen.
Click on the "Track Status" button.
You will then be able to see the status of your passport application, including whether it is under review, in the printing process, or has been dispatched for delivery.
