To apply for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) Certificate in Tamil Nadu, you can follow the steps given below:
Visit the official website of Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency: https://www.tnega.tn.gov.in/
Click on the "Certificates" tab from the menu and select "Community Certificate" from the drop-down list.
You will be redirected to the Community Certificate page. Read the instructions and click on "Apply Online."
Select "OBC" from the list of certificates and fill in the required details, such as personal information, address, and caste information.
Upload the necessary documents, such as a photo, identity proof, and address proof.
After filling in all the details, click on "Submit."
You will receive an acknowledgment slip with an application number. Save it for future reference.
The application will be processed, and if approved, you will receive the OBC certificate via post.
Alternatively, you can also apply for the OBC certificate offline by visiting the nearest e-Sevai center or the Revenue Divisional Office (RDO) and submitting the necessary documents along with the application form.
