You can book unreserved train tickets online through the UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) mobile app. Here's how:
Download the UTS app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Register on the app by providing your mobile number, name, and other details.
Once you have registered, you can login to the app and select the 'Book Ticket' option.
Select the 'Unreserved' option and enter the source and destination stations.
Choose the number of passengers, ticket type, and class.
Make the payment using any of the available payment options.
Once the payment is successful, the ticket will be generated and displayed on the screen.
You can show the ticket to the ticket checker or the station master to board the train.
To book unreserved tickets online, follow the below steps:
- Visit the Indian Railways website - https://www.irctc.co.in/nget/train-search
- Click on the 'Book Unreserved Ticket' option in the menu bar.
- Select the 'From' and 'To' stations and click on the 'Submit' button.
- Choose the number of tickets and the class of travel.
- Enter your mobile number and click on 'Submit'.
- You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on 'Submit'.
- Your ticket will be booked, and you will receive a confirmation message.
Note: Unreserved tickets can only be booked within a certain time frame before the departure of the train.
