How to do GST registration?

To do GST registration online in India, follow the below steps:

1. Visit the official GST portal at https://www.gst.gov.in/.
2. Click on the ‘Services’ tab on the homepage and select ‘Registration’ from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the ‘New Registration’ option and fill in the required details such as your business type, name, PAN number, email ID, and mobile number.
4. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and email ID, enter it to verify your account.
5. After verification, you will receive an Application Reference Number (ARN) on your registered mobile number and email ID.
6. You can use the ARN to track the status of your GST registration application on the GST portal.
7. Once your application is approved, you will receive a GST registration certificate.

Note that, for some types of businesses, additional documents may be required for GST registration. It is advised to keep all the necessary documents ready beforehand to complete the registration process without any delay.
